Hindmarket, a project designed to innovate, give chances and inspire.

First off, let me explain what “Hindmarket” is. It’s a small project created by a small team of 5 students hailing from Bennett University situated at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The project is designed to provide the community an opportunity to access and purchase hand-made crafts made by different people across the country at the same time providing an opening to the people who aren’t able to sell their assets, primarily in the rural areas. It is designed as a website and its aim is to provide its users with a user-friendly interface, easy-to-use standard and to become one of the top selling sites for handicrafts available on the internet.
The project was made after analyzing the pros and cons and yes, we know that there are a lot of other e-commerce sites such as Shopify.com, Wix.com, Woo Commerce and many more that provide the same service but they are not very profound and at the same time they require some sort of entry for you to properly access the site. Moreover, there are a lot of ads to deal with. Well, we on the other hand, tried our best to provide users with the easiest method of access and have no sort of annoying ads whatsoever that might meddle in between the sessions of the user.

The main motive of this project is to provide people access to an only-handicrafts buying and selling site, especially for people from the rural areas as they do not get much opportunities to showcase and sell their handwoven crafts. Same time, dealers who are interested in such activities can engage themselves on the site. The team is focused on handling the project mainly through the community and their feedback and since the project was only recently made, criticism and feedback from the community towards improving various aspects would be ideal. We aim to become one of the most sought after sites in the market today and to provide quality service to the community and promote their as well as our works.

The team behind the scenes is of five, namely; Rishi, Pranav, Raunak, Lima and Himanshu. The work is done with each member trying their definite best to provide for the project in whatever fields they are skilled at. Through this project we as a team have come closer together, learned new methods of coding, how the market works and many more. Lastly, I would like to conclude by thanking our university for giving us this chance that lead to the establishment of this project.
